Old Fashioned Galley Kit

Same ritual as home. The galley already has ice and a glass — you add the three things that make it an Old Fashioned.

Already have

• Ice (tray or bag)
• Rocks glass or sturdy cup
• Spoon or bar spoon
• Knife (for citrus, if stocked)

Add for this pour

• Bourbon or rye (one bottle earns its cabinet space)
• Angostura bitters (small bottle)
• Spiced Turbinado Rich Syrup in a jar — make before you roll, or a simple rich syrup in a pinch
• Orange (or lemon) when you shop

Nice if room

• Bourbon cocktail cherries
• Clear ice from the cooler method (guide)
• Orange bitters as a second vial
